Description
Project 3 stereo PR 5072SD.... Original pressing from 1972 and very very hard to come by. a really scarce obscure rare record. Musically it is a soft psych prog thing, kind of a Zerfas-lite. Record is clean super shiny vg++ with a few ultra light superficial scuffs. Labels have a bit of wear. gatefold cover has corner wear, a 1 inch tear at opening edge on back with a light stain in this area. Front cover has two stains from a glass of something having been set on it. There is an indention on the edge of the record, a sort of "pit" I am not sure what the deal is with it but did find this when researching this record and thanks to RED TELEPHONE for this info! Another impressive Project 3 label recording. The production on this is soft and slick, but exactly what these songs needed, and not a detractor. There are hints of the Zombies and Beatles in the songwriting, yet with a more progressive feel. Keyboards dominate many of the melodies, and add great texture. The real highlights are the songwriting and vocals, which display great talent. Most of the lp’s are said to have pressing flaws. A once obscure record that has been recently gaining momentum.
