Description

This LP by the U.K psych/progressive group the web is titled "theraphosa blondi". It is a very rare original UK 1969 stereo issue on the red/white deram label in laminated cover. I do not think i have ever seen this LP for sale before. They formed in 1967 calling themselves John L. Watson and The Web, Watson was an American singer who had joined the band. Later changing their name to The Web they recorded their debut LP titled "Fully Interlocking". "Theraphosa Blondi" is their 2nd album. The back cover has the required hole in it to see the colour of the deram inner sleeve [blue denoting stereo, red denoting mono]. This is stereo and the blue deram inner sleeve is present. Please read the decription closely before bidding as this is not an ex/ex copy, so please do not bid if you are wanting ex/ex. But you will not see it for sale again.

The disc is in VG- condition, it has superficial surface marks on both sides which are more noticeable when held under a bright light. There are occasional pops and crackles but nothing annoying and there is no skipping.

Both labels have a few coloured in tears on the red part of the label. [see third photo]

The front cover is fully intact, it has some creases on it. I guess the front is VG. The back cover has a surface tear bottom left and a couple top left cover as well as a few marks. See second photo for back cover. Hard to grade the back cover because of this so please look at the second photo before bidding to avoid disappointment.
