vinyl has a few faint hairlines to grade e

this lp came from the estate of a radio executive in our state who had a vast extremely well kept collection of mostly promos he had received. he was also an artist who married his muse, a former ballerina and striking figure model, they had three beautiful children. she explained to me: "when we first met i was more into classical, and he into jazz, and over time, he became a big fan of the classics and i grew more to like jazz."
the husband would make reel to reels using the station turntables and equipment, and would then bring the lps home to carefully file and shelf. he made hand lettered and painted covers for many records as gifts to his family which it was obvious he loved dearly

about grading. it is my experience that even mint appearing records can still have aural artifacts, this is sometimes due the pressing materials. if you would like me to play grade a disc, please allow me a few days to find the time, but i am always glad to do this when i am able

my grading scale:
m unopened, new, or obviously unplayed
m- tiny spindle mark or other faint sign of handling or play, surfaces as new
n  1-2 spindle marks or 1-2 small extremely faint sleeve hairlines, surfaces otherwise mint
n-/e+ as above but 1-3 nonfeelable marks more visible but still very light
e great gloss but has 2-4 nonfeelable sleeve scuffs or hairlines visible enough to grade down from nm  plays well, maybe a tic here or there
e-/v++ good gloss but the presence of more than 1-4 nonfeelable sleeve scuffs or hairlines, plays well but with some tics
v+ any feelable mark no matter how small, even if disc is otherwise mint, and/or light scatter of scuffs or hairlines, some feelable; plays well but with numerous tics
v still decent gloss, but light lattice of scuffs and numerous feelable marks plays ok with intermittent tics, some background noise
g+ looks pretty bad but plays better than it looks
g lattice of feelable marks, graying in grooves background noise starting to overcome music
f thrashed, heavy gouging, plays with skips, overbearing background noise
p trashed, virtually unplayable but still an historical artifact
