This copy has provenance and a direct connection to Stewart and Colin Goldring.
My late husband David, was "roadie" or road manager to this band back in the early 1970's and stayed in touch with Stewart and Colin Goldring right up to his death, a few years ago. They were all young together and grew up in the same neighbourhood, hence they were friends. He had funny stories about how he would drive them around to gigs when they first started, in his beaten up car, which wouldn't go up the hills with the three of them in it, and so they would have to get out and push it. This is his treasured copy and the name STEW is written on the back of the sleeve. I cannot say for sure that this copy was owned by Stewart but it isn't my husband's writing, so I like to think it was Stewart's personal copy. However, this is conjecture on my part.
I am now letting go of my late husband's possessions and it is time for another Gnidrolog fan to own this record.
