• Up for bids is a scarce record made of thick pressed cardboard. There is some light delamination in some areas along the edge but I guess this could be
fixed by a skillful person. I will only give it a VG grade because of the inherent
surface noise common to a cardboard record.

• I have played the record with a 2g tonearm pressure and record skipped
on a few occasions at the very beginning but plays fine thereafter with a light background noise like most cardboard records (i.e. Hit of the Week records).

• On side A is a narration of a bird's eye view of what can be seen at the 102nd floor:
Central Park–42nd Street–The Chrysler Building– Park Avenue–The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel–The Hudson River–The Washington Bridge–The Statue of Liberty, etc.
Narration is done on light background music.

• On side B is a description of what the Empire State Building is made of:
...the building weighs 50,000 tons; 4000 people were employed to build the structure; building has 17 million feet of telephone wire and cable; building is 1250 feet tall; opened on May 1st, 1931, etc.

WOULD MAKE A WONDERFUL ADDITION TO
YOUR RECORD COLLECTION.
I have only seen two other ones in 30 years of record collecting.
The other 2 were printed in green on white paper.
This is the only one I have seen printed in black on white cardboard.
I have been unable to find information about this record online
making it a real scarce one!

the Illustrated Record Corporation, Montreal, Canada.
