Description

Up for Auction is a 1950's era "Female Impersonators Album" consisting of ( 78 Lps).  Featuring Francis Russell, Jackie Maye and Johnnie Mangum, which were the top Female Impersonators of their day.  Condition of album is "GOOD", with some wear to cover and edges of album, chips, rubs, some mild water marks along bottom edge of front cover, etc., but overall very nice condition for age of album.  All (5) records appear to be in Very Good condition with few scratches and having a few smudges and rubs.  Rear of album cover is clean with mild rubbing.  First record has "Carol Davis" with "Chole", reverse side has "Ray Bourbon" with "Ray Talks.  Second record has "Jackie Maye" with "Tired", reverse side has "Jackie Maye" with "Porgy".  Third record has "Johnnie Mangum" with "Permanent Wave", reverse side has "Johnnie Mangum" with "Mr. Morton".  Fourth record has "Francis Russell" with "Just A Dame", reverse side has "Francis Russell" with "Taking In Tourists", and just a note that this record does has some scratches and smudges.  Record label is "New Bourbon Records.  All songs were recorded in Hollywood.  Band was Jerry Tuber and his band.  Front cover has photos of the persons noted and also states they were formerly of Finocchio's of San Francisco.  If there are any questions, please contact me before bidding.
