Label: Blue Note (BLP 5062), New York, 1955

 

Description: 10” Vinyl LP; blue & white labels with 767 Lexington Ave. address; four tracks; deep groove; mono; “ear” mark & RVG etched into the run-off wax. Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder.

 

Condition: A bit of edge wear to the record sleeve with light rubbing and age-toning. Overall the sleeve is solid and remains in Very Good to Very Good+ condition. Some “spotting” from the original plastic inner sleeve (now lacking) and light surface marks to the disk; the vinyl plays through with minimal surface noise. Visually, the disk appears VG, but plays VG+. (Please see photos).
