Description
On offer is a rather unusual item. It is a recording made in 1955 of an Archers script produced by Reg Watson who was later famous for producing Neighbours. According to the label this was made at the BBC Studios in Birmingham of the Berry Family ( Colin,Irene and son,John).
It is what is often known as an acetate disc on aluminium but is more often a black nitrocellulose lacquer on aluminium.
The condition of the disc is poor with a small chunk out of the edge of the disc and the surface showing signs of peeling. The reverse side has not been recorded on and is in even worse condition. I do not know if it would play and I have not tried,it might damage the disc further.
I acquired it a few years ago during a house clearance and it has just sat on my shelf. Now trying to have a clear out. Here to be sold to the highest bidder.

Shipping
We aim to post most items within 2 working days of being paid. This slight delay is due to our 6 mile mile round trip to the nearest PO so we don't go out every day.
Smaller items are sent either by recorded delivery or signed for carrier service,for this we will need a contact phone number in order to book it.This service is often subsidised and we don't charge extra for the bubblewrap/padded envelopes or travel to and from a Post Office as some ebayers do.
SHIPPING/POST OUTSIDE THE UK MAINLAND WILL BE SENT BY RECORDED SIGNED FOR SERVICE ONLY AND SURCHARGES WILL BE CHARGED ACCORDINGLY. This includes Scottish Islands,Channel Islands,Isle of Wight and Isle of Man.
