Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied.   2.  Original 1970 first pressing on the locally pressed "PEACE" label ... one of the classic garage-psychedelia albums ...

    From Minneapolis in Minnesota came The Paisleys exibiting truy stunning psychedelic-rock passages ...The most interesting tracks on their album are "Rockin," notable for its use of echoes and sound effects, and the haunting swirling "Wind," which is a fantastic acid-nugget included on Endless Journey, Phase 2



    1. Side two of the album consists entirely of the ambitious, tripped-out "Musical Journey." The side long track contains creative twists and turns in the style of an acid trip set to an accessible pleasant melody injected with hallucinatory themes.

      The PAISLEYS approaches Psychedelia in an earnest, honest style. The lyrics are reminiscent of Tommy Hall/Roky Erickson's 13th Floor Elevators work in some regards as they are quite explicitly 'instructional' or 'journalistic' with regards to Cosmic experience. Tellingly, the most interesting tracks have a curious 'futuristic' feel to them, setting The Paisleys quite apart from whatever their influences may have been (late period psychy Beatles) particularly on one track: "The Wind" = they were clearly on to something, perusing it strongly...

      It's hard to contemplate this band's historical place in whatever scene they came up in. With their name and music, The Paisleys clearly were in step with day-glo Nuggets-era happenings, even if those happenings were already 4 years old by the time they themselves recorded. They certainly weren't copying anyone in particular. Most crucially, there is a wacky sense of humour throughout 'Cosmic Mind At Play' that sets it apart from heavier offerings, a gentle giggle throughout making it a friendlier soundtrack than some. It's certainly one of the more unusual records out there - one that stands utterly alone on several counts.

      Fans of the Elevators and The Golden Dawn would do well to seek out this lesser known offering of late vintage heartfelt American Psychedelic Music. Despite some wise-guy reviews by "straights" this album is actually really good and quite noteworthy for even having been made at all

    14. The cover: rated: near M- splendid, especially for the black back cover ALWAYS if found at all is full of wear. Sporting with one of the all time great psychedelic designed covers, this one is display quality!  There are no split seams, no delete marks, no bends, no writing...all very stiff and solid.

    1. The vinyl: Rated: near M- both sides retain the original glossy shine, and play graded in excellent minty clean audio  with NO problems...many private pressings from the sixties had surface issues even when mint, this PEACE label, a division of "Warwick" (1st Litter Lp) was a pretty quality pressing and the sound-sonics reflect just that ... both the blue/white Peace labels are both clean.




A cool addition to anyone's music library!
