Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Hokus Poke were a early UK British blues band, of the rarest on the Vertigo label. They only released Earth Harmony in 1972. Essentially, Hokus Poke follow along the lines of the electric blues pioneered by Cream five year earlier. However, the first half of the album is much more acoustic based which gives them their own voice. At least we couldn't think of any ready comparisons. They are a quartet of two guitars, bass and drums. The obscure British four-piece bagged a residency at the Thomas A. Becket public house in the Old Kent Road of London. A decent twin-guitar band, Wishbone Ash and Cream influences come across on some very good tracks. Bassist Smith Campbell went on to Clear Blue Sky...
Every progressive rock & swirl collector out there knows how rare this piece of vinyl is, but very often it get overshadowed by the more "classic" rarities on the label such as 'Dr. Z,' 'Tudor Lodge,' 'Catapilla's "Changes", and 'Patto's "Hold your Fire". Hokus Poke album is just as rare - or - rarer as those records judging from how many times it appears...currently valued £ 275 on Record Collector's Price Guide'

CONDITION: The Cover: The specially designed "gimmix" window gatefold cover is VG+ and in pretty good condition for it's age and fragility. The material used to make the cover is dull and flat which easily shows shelf wear more easily. There is a small sticker pull at top right and overall light shelf wear; including a little shelf wear along the spine but the lettering is all still ledgible. The back cover with group photo and song lyrics has only a little bit of light shelf wear. The inside of the gatefold has but a 'touch' of minor shelf wear and also looks fine.
The Vinyl: is visually "EX" (excellent) and play graded excellent, completely enjoyable. The platter was surely taken care of and maintains it's full gloss ... Both VERTIGO labels are clean...All in all an excellent specimen this very rare and desireable album from 40 years ago.
