Hi there! Over the next few days and weeks I'm downsizing my 8 track collection so keep your eye on my listings!
From my own collection, this listing is for my 2XL robot educational toy (which is really an 8 track player!) Fantastic toy from c.1979, I had one of these for Xmas 1980 and gave me years of fun. Firstly, designed as an educational toy using the 2XL cartridges where the robot asks you questions and you input the answers using the programme 1,2,3 and 4 buttons on the front and he will tell you if you're right or wrong as well as give you facts and tell jokes! There were many 'special' cartridges released for 2XL on various subjects such as sports, history, TV & film, etc (I've yet to collect them all) and I've included a few here for you to get started :-) Secondly, 2XL can be used as a stand alone 8 track player for use with your music 8 track cartridges.
For more information on 2XL, please Google him and you'll get a much better idea of what he's about! Comes complete with original 9 volt power supply, very tatty box and cartridges as pictured (excepet the Fleetwood Mac cart, listed separately!)
