Description

"Swaunee Water And Cocaine Blues" on Brandie Records LP 1001 / mono from 196??. This is true down-home Southern "outsider/real people folk/blues/rock/minstrel   swamp music by this one man band, Abner Jay. This old-time black musician plays the electric banjo, swamp guitar, harmonica, drums, etc. etc. Songs range from LSD   to sex & depression !! Abner was truly one-of-a-kind, a musician and a true philosopher ! The liner notes tell how his secret to great health is drinking water straight   from the Swaunee River - how he has 16 "young'uns" and gonna git some more ! He also says that he looks 25 years younger than his actual age. There's 9 great original   tunes here in all. This is unlike any other album you're likely to hear! A GREAT OUTSIDER PRIVATE PRESSING. The cover is still in the original shrinkwrap and is VG+  with some small chunks missing at the lower right opening - still looks good. The labels have a small bit of "chipping" at the edges, nothing major. The vinyl has four "clicks" at the very beginning of side 1 track 1 which are audible BEFORE THE MUSIC STARTS. Overall, plays very well & grades VG+(+) to VG++ visually.
