Record looks near mint, no scratches, no spindle marks, very shiny sheen.
Record play with near mint quiet surfaces.
Gorgeous near mint vibrant gatefold cover, original sleeve.
This is a very fine audiophile sounding. Realistic and musical violin tone on solos. Accardo's violin used in the recording is "Il Cremonese", a Stradivari, 1715. A gem record in beautiful condition. Scarce and sought after.
[I visually grade the record in good light. I play grade the record by spot checking several areas, especially areas that have marks. I listen using Grado SR325 headphone w/Grado headphone amp, on a Well Tempered Turntable & arm, mcz Grado cartridge. These are very revealing headphones allowing me to hear any surface noise, although from a close-in perspective. Your experience may differ depending on your system. I clean the record if needed to determine the general condition.
