ALEX HARVEY ~ THE BLUES LP
Original 1964 German first issue mono pressing released on the Polydor label 46441.
Super rare second album from Harvey featuring some classic blues renditions of inspired covers and original numbers. Harvey was 25 when he recorded this album of acoustic blues and was joined on guitar by his brother Leslie who was only 16 at the time !
Harvey went on to great success in the seventies with the Sensational Alex Harvey Band.
The striking sleeve has some light edge and minor corner wear and is in VG++ condition. Ignore the small area of white camera glare along the bottom edge. The vinyl is a stunning NEAR MINT with just the tiniest signs of use. Gorgeous item. Hideously hard to find.
