On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Alexis Korners Blues Incorporated called 'R&B From The Marquee' and is a UK 1962 MONO 1st pressing on the 1st Press Ace Of Clubs 'Grooved' label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN MORE SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS WITH A FLIPBACK COVER!!!!  MOST 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP NEVER CAME WITH A FLIPBACK COVER - BUT A HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS DID, AND THESE ARE VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  AND SHOWING EXACTLY JUST HOW EARLY THIS 1ST PRESSING REALLY IS - IT HAS 1/B 1/B MATRIX ENDINGS, AND 1/C 1/C MOTHER & STAMPER CODES!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT - BUT IT HAS THE 'EARLIEST' STYLE OF 'HANDLING/PLAYING' INNER SLEEVE, WITH SMALLER TEXT THAN LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AS AN 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE 1962 UK MONO 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'GROOVED' ACE OF CLUBS LABEL, 1/B 1/B MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'HANDLING/PLAYING' INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'ROBERT STACE' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing from 1962 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ACL 1130 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Grooved' Ace Of Clubs label (see picture) and is a 1962 MONO 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light and NON sounding hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO masty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and only some INCREDIBLY low level touches of background crackle in places!!!!  There is NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The 'Earliest' 1st Press FLIPBACK Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), STUNNING shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in GREAT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!!  However there is some rubbing to the pictures on the right of the cover back (see pictures) - though this doesnt look to be from any wear, and could even be a misprint at the factory.  This cover must grade Very Good++ if not better - though without the rubbing to the pictures on the cover back, this cover would be VERY close to FULL Excellent!!!!  THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS WITH A FLIPBACK COVER, AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
