Description
AMI MODEL JBJ-120 120 SELECTIONS JUKEBOX. CIRCA 1959
ORIGINAL CONDITION, COMPLETE, STORED MANY YEARS IN A HEATED GARAGE.
This Great 50's AMI Juke is in Very Good Original condition. I've taken many photos to show you as many details that I can so as to provide you with a View or how nice the current "untouhed" condition is of this Jukebox.
I took a look under the hood, and if you've worked on AMI's, you are familiar with the coating on some of the electrical wires dry out and become Brittle. That's what has happened to this one.
The previous Owner initially made an attempt to use Electrical tape on one of these wires, and but never completed the job. There are other brittle wires, and all of these 3 or 4 I would normally replace, and that's the first thing I do when work on a 1950's AMI. (This Jukebox rolls Very Easily).
I could not test this Jukebox because these wires are frail/brittle so, this Jukebox may work without much more that a few wires being replaced.
I live near 3 minutes from I-90 (East of Cleveland, OHIO) and I will be Most happy to store this Jukebox in my Garage until the Chicago Show and you can pick it up either before or after the show, your choice.
And, if you hire a professional mover to pick it up, I will make myself available to be here (if need be) when they pick it up.
Any questions, let me know and thanks for taking a look
