AMON DUUL II 'PHALLUS DEI' ORIGINAL UK BLUE LABEL TEXTURED SLEEVE LIBERTY RELEASE!!!

VERY FIRST PRESSING OF THIS KRAUTROCK HOLY GRAIL. ONE OF THE MOST DESIRABLE AND ELUSIVE KRAUT / PROG / PSYCHEDELIC ALBUMS. VERY RARE!! THIS BRITISH COPY WAS RELEASED WITH THIS AMAZING AND UNIQUE SLEEVE, NOT REPRODUCED SINCE ON ANY OTHER ISSUE OR REISSUE. 

This copy in very nice shape overall, especially for a record that is 40 years old. The vinyl is particularly shiny and very clean, with only a handful of VERY MINOR occasional hairline scratches which are hard to see in normal light. Labels also have VERY MINOR spindle marks, and are also very clean. Vinyl plays beautifully with NO warp or distortion, pops or clicks, with side two displaying very occasionally VERY MINOR and QUIET crackle. Overall though I have to say that this plays and sounds GREAT! The sleeve is also in nice shape, but mainly due to the relatively flimsy nature of the card stock is SLIGHTLY tatty here and there, but only slightly so. Nothing to really worry about, or that would detract from your overall enjoyment of this beautiful item. There are no seam splits, no major creases, and no tears. The spine is in great shape and the wording can be clearly and easily read. This record has been carefully stored in a thick PVC sleeve ever since it came into my possession about 15 years ago. Actually, playing it through now and looking it over and writing this description I'm beginning to wonder why I'm actually going to part with one of my very favourite records in my collection............
