DESCRIPTION
Annie Ross / Gerry Mulligan Quartet - “Annie Ross Sings A Song With Mulligan” World Pacific Records WP-1253 (Mono) from 1959. Great Sexy Female Jazz Vocal Album from Annie Ross, probably best known for her work with Lambert, Hendricks & Ross, accompanied by The Gerry Mulligan Quartet featuring Art Farmer, Chet Baker, Dave Bailey, Henry Grimes and Bill Crow. On the Original Deep Groove Black with Silver Print World Pacific label.

CONDITION

The Sleeve is in nice shape. There is some light basic shelf wear. There is some very slight corner softening. There is a light stain along the bottom of the back cover - looks way worse in the picture than in real life where it is barely visible. Still, very clean and solid with no writing, splits, tears, cutouts, etc. and should easily rate as VG+. The Vinyl itself is in clean, Glossy condition. There are some overall light scuffs and hairlines but plays very nicely with just a couple little crackles here and there (might benefit from a better cleaning than I can give with my Discwasher Brush) and a couple light tics. Visually probably a good VG to VG+ but plays mostly EX so I will split the difference and call it VG+. The labels show a few light spindle trails but are otherwise Near Mint.

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less!
