This is an ORIGINAL 1965 IMPULSE MONO WHITE LABEL PROMO PRESSING OF THE 1965 LP titled 'On This Night' from free jazz sax man Archie Shepp with stellar accompaniment. It is Impulse Records U.S. catalog number A-97, thick rigid vinyl deep groove pressing, thick cardboard gatefold cover. Record comes packaged inside the cover in its original ABC Recordfs family inner sleeve with pictures of other then-current ABC and Impulse label LPs

Condition of record is VG with a very few visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play and one small surface scratch which cannot be felt but which will cause ticks in the 'On This Night' track, necessitating the VG grading. Condition of gatefold cover is VG+ with a little ring and contact wear, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners. I have priced this sought-after mono white label promo pressing modestly according to its condition, I will leave it to the bidders to determine its final value - This LP would be a choice addition to any free jazz record collection!
