The Atlantics - Big City Rock LP (MCA / Victor Music Japan) Japanese Import Pressing w/ OBI Strip and insert
*Insert only comes with this pressing.
One of the best and possibly under-appreciated Powerpop records of that era. Had it had maybe a little bit better production, possibly could have been an epic. Anyway this is super rare. I have never seen one before or since I aqcuired this years ago. I actually think this sounds leaps and bounds better than the US press.
US powerpop, punk, kbd, Boston, La Peste, Unnatural Axe, Real Kids, Nervous Eaters, Lyres etc..
Cover: ex (real clean with just some slight wear on the points of the corners, obi strip is intact and just has some slight yellowing on back where it connects.
Wax: ex (clean with just slight surface marks that don't effect play)
GRADING:
• NM (near mint) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape.
• EX (excellent) means there is very little to no wear — a small, inaudible surface mark on the vinyl or a small bend on the sleeve
• VG+ (very good plus) means the sleeve has minor wear — creased and/or shows a slight ring impression, and the disc shows cosmetic signs of handling.
• VG (very good) means the sleeve shows multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has surface noise (no skips or thunderous pops) and multiple small scratches.
• VG- (very good minus) means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy.
• G (good) means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips.
