Title: Eiji Kitamura – Swing Sessions
Original first Japanese pressing from 1978 on RCA, RDC-10. Extremely rare Limited Direct-To-Disc Edition, part of the HIGHEST FIDELITY DIRECT MASTER SERIES. Contains a record-sized 4 pages inserts with microphone-setting, photos, lyrics of the 2 vocal tracks, lots of infos in Japanese etc. Appears in the reference list of high-endaudio.com, listed as one of the “ Divinities“, it's the “Supreme Recording” in the jazz-field. 2 quotes from Arthur Salvatore: 1.“It is amazing in every sonic parameter: purity, immediacy, precision, dynamics, harmonic completeness etc. The most demanding cut is Avalon, which is at the beginning of Side One.“ 2. „Some serious, experienced audiophiles I know feel that this is the best audiophile LP ever made, of any type “. A hard to find true audiophile highlight !
