Ambrose Slade - Set of Six Rare Promo Acetates for Beginnings LP. Condition is "Used". But they are in very good condition.
I have had this set of promo acetates for over 40 years. They were only played once by me to make a cassette tape of the rare Beginnings album, which at the time I did not have. I can vouch that they all played fine, and the track names on the sleeves do identify which disc is which. I say this as all the discs are blank with no labels, just some saying I and II on the reverse side.
Five of the sleeves are original in yellowing aged white paper. I had to replace one at the time as it was falling apart. One has original blue pen on inside saying "Born to be Wild Promo 1970". The track listings on the front is accurate but was done by me, otherwise there was no way to tell them apart.
The seller at the time had no other information, so their origin is unknown, so they may be bootlegs. They are made of stiff vinyl and some have a blue tinge to the outer rim. In recent years 2 different ones have been listed separately on eBay. One seller listed them as follows....
