Description

This is Blue Note Records BLP 4217 Andrew Hill Compulsion, a blue and white microgroove New York label original mono issue of this classic record with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. There was never an ear (p) mark on this record . The record is in VG+(+) condition ( a strong VG+) showing a few light marks. The record plays quietly except for occasional moments of light crackle audible at some quiet moments on the first track on side 2. The cover, with it's 43 West 61st St. New York 23 printed in USA address,  has a name in marker on the back and some shelf wear but is intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this extremely rare original mono Blue Note Mono with all the proper marking present. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.  Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
