Description
Rare LITTLE WONDER Record Album plus one Little Wonder 78 RPM record, No. 739 The Missouri Waltz featuring a Hawaiian guitar duet.
LITTLE WONDER records were manufactured between 1914 and 1923. This No. 739 is listed in a 1921 Sears, Roebuck and Co. advertisement for 10 cents.
ALBUM has a red cover embossed with "Little Wonder Record Album" and has steel expansion posts; inside front cover has an index (unmarked); contains 10 sleeves, numbered each side, from 1 - 20; condition: perimeter of cover is scuffed with age and there is a surface split at the lower part of the front seam; all sleeves are included, but some have torn from the posts; album measures 6-3/4" x 5-3/4" x 1-1/2" at binder edge.
RECORD is a single sided 78 RPM shellac-type record, 5-1/2" dia.; orange label on playing side; blank on back side except worn embossing reads "Made Under One or More of the Following...Patents...Dec. 1906...Feb. 1909"; we have not played the record - it looks well-used but is not cracked.
