Description
Titled "Clarinet Solos" with Domnerus, clarinet on all 8 tracks. From 1949, 1 track also includes Gosta Theselius, piano; Lennart Sundewall, bass; Jack Noren, drums. 1 track also includes the same personnel with Ulf Linde, vibes added. 2 tracks also include Linde, vibes, Theselius, piano Yngve Ackerberg, bass; Andrew Burman, drums. 4 tracks for 1950 also inlcude Line, vib es : Theselius, piano; Thore Jederby, bass; Burman, drums. All recorded in Stockholm. Rare.
Cover: Mint(-) Intact and clean. A minor discoloration mark on the front cover. Overall, very fine condition, close to new.
Record: VG++ Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. The record is new in appearance. There is some crackling, mainly on Tracks 1 & 2 on Side A and Track 1 on Side B. There is some sound aberration on 1 or 2 revolutions. This does not effect the tracking but there is a small amount of sound distortion. There are a few light clicks elsewhere. All noise is in the pressing and mainly on the first 2 tracks on each side. This condition is not unusual for the early Prestige 10" recordings. The noise is in the pressing and not a function of wear. I have graded the record audibly. I doubt if the record was played more than 1 or 2 times and handled with care. Audibly checked.
