Description
Art Blakey - "A Night at Birdland" Volume 1 - Blue Note Records, deep groove on both sides, Lp #1521, "RVG" written in dead wax on both sides, ear mark on both sides. Jacket gives no address. Label says Blue Note Records 47 West 63rd NYC, on both sides. The Bird cover was available for a short time before it was changed to the more common 1521 cover. Features; Clifford Brown / Lou Donaldson / Horace Silver / Curly Russell.
Sleeve is Near Mint, corners show a tiny bit of light shelf wear, no seam splits. Record is near mint, clean, a truly beautiful copy!!
This is from a fantastic Jazz Lp collection recently aquired by Orbit Records. The Lp's & Jackets in this collection are pristine. The former owner handled these albums with great love and care. We have been doing this for many years and have never seen records of this age, in this condition. You may never have the opportunity to find these titles in this condition again.
