Bad Brain Records - BB001 - Original off-white labels with brown letters on record label (second pressings had beige labels with red ink)

"MASTERDISK" machine stamped in dead wax / run off.

Stamped: MOD-001-A MASTERDISK RL (PR) in A-side matrix (side A)

Stamped: MOD-001-B MASTERDISK (PR) in B-side matrix (side 1)

Sleeve / Insert Description:

ORIGINAL White Sleeve - NOT Tan version. Paper is fairly thick, mat finish - not shiny or thin flimsy style paper.  Includes original Promo insert lyric sheet that is folded in fours.  This is NOT a Copy or Reproduction.  I believe only 150-200 were issued with the picture sleeve and even less issued with the insert.  Picture Sleeve has no split seams. Has one tiny tear mark on top left (see pic). It has some minor wrinkling and discoloration on edges. I did my best to display as much detail possible. The front and back of the picture sleeve were scanned at a high resolution for greater detail.

Over the last 10 or so years, I’ve seen a few of these listed with and without the sleeve and insert and I think the overall condition of this one rivals if not beats any of the others sold.

History:                                                                                                                                                                                                               Growing up in New York, I've had this since 1981 when it was given to me by a friend of the records producer - so I'm among the very first owners of this record. This has been a cherished and prized possession of mine for all these years and I really didn't want to ever sell it.  I’ve been back and forth for a while but finally decided to let it go.

Shipping Details:
This will be sent via Priority Mail; well packed in a medium box for about $12 anywhere in the U.S. with tracking.  International shipping cost depending upon the country may be closer to $24 or higher. Once the auction ends, I will calculate the actual shipping cost to your location.  I will then send an invoice to the winning bidder with the total.  I will cover the insurance cost myself.  This record is too rare and valuable to risk anything.  It will be packed very well. * I am unable to ship to South America, Italy or Canada at this time because of the high losses at customs – My apologies for this.  I also cannot ship to The Philippines since they wont allow the item to be insured through shipping. *
