Vinyl G, plenty of marks, especially on Luau side. This has been extensively researched by numerous Beach Boys historians, and confirmed by Bruce Morgan (son of Hite and Dorinda): Candix 331 is the absolute FIRST Beach Boys pressing/release, 1961. (Candix 301 and X 301 came subsequent to 331, when demand required a second/third pressing.) Mega-rare, which is why you seldom see it on eBay and  there are never any copies on D-cogs. This is your chance to own one of the 3 o 4 rarest Beach Boys records. Not the cleanest copy, and has a bit of writing on the Surfin' side, but there were supposedly supposed to have been only 500 pressed (probably fewer) and only a VERY few survived the last 65 years.
