Description
Up for auction is a copy of Surf’s Up by The Beach Boys, released in 1971 on Brother – Reprise, cat no RS 6453, a US pressing. This is a particularly unusual version in that is a Record Club edition pressed by RCA on (presumably by mistake) the Asylum label. Very rare.
Condition: a few minor marks not seriously affecting play. There’s also a dent & hairline crack affecting track two of both sides (plays through with clicks but no jumps/sticks). The all-important labels are fine. No cover, but that’s easily replaceable. VG-.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
