This auction is for a very rare original STEREO pressing of the UK Parlophone LP 'With The Beatles'!
This is the very rare STEREO original press from 1963! Back in 1963 the stereo format was still in its infancy. Stereo records cost a lot more than their mono counterparts. because of this, and because stereophonic record players cost a small fortune back then, everybody bought the mono presses. The original stereo presses of the early Beatle albums sold in absolutely tiny amounts and, today, are extremely hard to find!
This is the original 1st pressing that features the 'Gotta' error on both the sleeve and on the label. The credit for Money is Jobete Mus. NCB. The credit for 'You Really Got a Hold On Me' is correctly spelled as Dominion.
Very hard to find! Highly collectible!!

The cover is holding up fine for its age but does have some general, light wear and tear. The front is predominatly clean bar a little light dirt buildup and a small stain at the bottom left. There's some little creases around the edges and the corners have rounded a little. The top and bottom seams have some creases running through them but there's no splitting or tears or anything. The spine, again, has a few creases running through it but it's all fully legible with no splits or tearing. The back cover has browned a little with some handling wear around the edges which has browned the non-laminated back a little more noticeably. The overflaps are holding okay and have some little creases running through them. The original '32/-' price sticker is on the back! All in all, holidng okay but showing its age a little. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG+/EX
The playing surface has a lovely, crisp shine to it. There's some light scuffing, a little more so on the side 1 side that brings the grade down from a solid EX, but there's nothing serious or deep or anything. Also has some light smudges - would benefit from a professional clean.

The labels are looking really nice with sharp, bright silver text. There's a small, light stain on the side 2 label (as you can see in the photo above) but, apart from that, there's nothing more than a little very light, faint spindlewear and a touch of whitening around the centrehole. Top labels!.

All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
