The Beatles - 'Revolver'. PMC 7009
The Beatles 1966 UK 1st pressing of the 'Revolver' album. Released on the 5th August 1966, this is the highly sought after XEX 606-1 variation which had a very, very brief pressing run before production was halted on the first day and quickly withdrawn. It is offered here in solid VERY GOOD+ condition.
The XEX 606-1 matrix variation is the rarest produced version of what is widely regarded as The Beatles most creative and finest work. It contains a unique extended mix of the simply magnificent track 'Tomorrow Never Knows' which has never been issued on any any subsequent release of 'Revolver'.
Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in the UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side one label. The vinyl is housed within the correct and original 'Made in England' inner sleeve. The sleeve is produced by Ernest J. Day and is in particularly nice condition which is increasingly rare for this album. A simply must have vinyl for collectors of The Beatles.

Side 1. XEX 605-2 1 RG
Side 2. XEX 606-1 5 MA
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Both sides of the vinyl have been play tested - strangely Taxman jumps once towards the end but upon close inspection I can see no deep mark which would cause this. It may well be some engrained dirt within the groove - a professional clean may well resolve this. All other tracks play fine, some crackle can be heard.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition. No damage but some creasing.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
