PLEASE READ FIRST!
I'm having to make this even clearer as people are still buying records I'm grading low and as a 'collection filler', and then complain about the audio quality when they try to play them. As I do not own a record player I VISUALLY GRADE my records, so I cannotguarantee that discs will be click, skip and noise free (although any marks that may cause such problems will be highlighted in the description).
All photos are of the actual item on sale. I do not use stock or 'borrowed' images.

Mega Rare Dark Apple Export Press with 'REVOLUTIONS' Error!
On offer here is a copy of the Beatles UK export copy of the album, 'Hey Jude'. This is the 2nd pressing on the Dark Apple logo. This is the exceptionally rare and highly collectible error pressing that incorrectly spells the song title 'REVOLUTION' as 'REVOLUTIONS', and also has the space in the word 'PAPERBACK'.
Hey Jude was originally issued in America in 1970. EMI in the UK also ran off a small number of copies specifically for export, giving the release it's own unique EMI catalogue number, but with a C prefix, indicating a Capitol release.
Now, these dark Apple export copies are, in themselves, very difficult to find (the vast majority of copies are on the later, light Apple label). However, two errors crept onto the label during production which were very swiftly spotted and corrected. Firstly, the song 'PAPERBACK WRITER' gained an erroneous space and became 'PAPER BACK WRITER' and the song 'REVOLUTION' gained an S, becoming 'REVOLUTIONS'. Like I said, these mistakes werre almost immediately spotted and corrected, but not until a tiny amount crept past quality control.
The original dark Apple export copies are rare in themselves, but to find them with both of these errors on the label is near impossible!

Title Hey Jude Year of Release 1970 Catalogue Number CPCS 106 Label Dark Apple Tax Code on Disc - Sleeve Manufacturer Garrod and Lofthouse Side 1 Matrix Number YEEX 150-1 Side 2 Matrix Number YEEX 151-1 Side 1 Stampers 2 / P Side 2 Stampers 1 / GD Sleeve Condition The sleeve is in VG- condition. The sleeve is holding up okay but does have a fair amount of light wear and tear, rubbing and creasing as you can see in the photos below. Holding tightly with no splits of tears. Inner Sleeve Condition - Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in G+ condition. The disc as a nice shine to it but has a lot of light scuffing all over the playing surface. Nothing nasty or serious looking, however. Would make a great collection filler! Label Condition The labels are in VG condition. The labels are clean but do have a name written on them as you can see in the photos below. The labels looked a little rubbed but overall are holding fine with some light spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.price rating
