I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor  / Fair / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.

I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.

A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.

All records are sent out in plastic covers.

THE BEATLES.
LET IT BE BOXSET. 
ORIGINAL UK APPLE MONO LP PCS 7096.

Up for offer is a nice original UK 'Let it be' Boxset. All parts are original and no parts are reproduction. The record is a -3U -2U pressing. The cover has the red Apple logo on the rear. 
The outer box / VG+ condition. The outer box has nice glossy lamination. The outer box has a few creases and several small indented scuffs near John's head, this is not seen unless angled in light. I've graded the outer box as VG+ condition - It's better than many I have seen. 
The inner tray / VG condition. This really hard part to find is still in one piece and is better than many you will see. All the flaps are intact and the tray's still strong. VG is a careful grade. 
The outer tray / VG- condition. I have graded the outer tray as VG-. It does not have any tears but the two flaps have suffered creasing - As is normal from removing the tray from the outer box. The back panel of the tray is actually in really nice shape, it's just the flaps that show age wear. When the tray is inside the outer box, all looks nice. 
The book / EX condition. The book is very nice condition with no loose pages. That can be an issue with this book. The book is graded a full excellent condition with outer wear only to the cover.  
The Record Cover / VG condition. The LP cover is in solid shape with glossy lamination. The cover does have some ring wear with a few creases but still looks nice. This is a strong VG condition and not rubbish. 
The Record / VG+ condition. I would grade the record as a strong VG+ condition with some light surface wear and odd light mark under halogen bulb. The record has no deep or nasty marks. The record has a good original gloss, both sides of the LP play very well.  
Matrix Numbers: YEX 773-3U, YEX 774-2U
Labels / VG+ condition. I have graded the labels as VG+ condition. They have no tears or writing, just some age wear and some spindle marks. 
The Inner / VG Condition. Original paper Patents Number inner cover in VG condition. The inner cover is in good shape with no side splits. 
I will pack this item very well. I will not post the book inside the box, I do understand this will seriously damage the item. Please note the book was not stored with the box for many years (As this is kinder to the tray).
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.

Mint - as new and in perfect condition.

Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.

Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear.  The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!

Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.

Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.

Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
