 AUCTION SPECIFICS AND CONDITION:

THIS BEATLES MOBILE FIDELITY BOX SET BEING OFFERED HERE IS PART OF A LARGER RECORD AQUISITION I HAVE MADE OF UNPLAYED AND  PRISTINE LPS!   IT IS NUMBER 17,067.  The outer box is in beautiful condition.   The brass on the hinged doors is shiney as new.

The lps are in beautiful NM condition.  I looked every lp over, and each lp is beautiful full gloss with very little sign of play.  This set has been played, but I don't think some of the lps have ever seen a turntable - they are that nice!  I will grade 11 at NM and 3 at NM-, the latter because I know they have been played.  Overall, these JVC SUPER VINYL LP's shine like a peice of fine glass with a wet gloss finish!  I could not find a single spindle mark on any label!  

The contents of the beautiful gold-lettered box includes:

1.   A full-sized, full color, brochure of all 13 lp covers  (The White LP is 2 lps which make 14). Booklet shows light storage wear and use.  VG+++ 

2.   Includes all of the cardboard inserts and rice paper inner sleeves, and the beautiful lps.

3.  Certificate of authenticity. 

4. Also includes the GEO DISC cartridge alignment tool for your turntable.

5.  I will also include copies of a rare MOBILE FIDELITY letter about the release of the set that was sent to retailers, and a 1982 LA Hearald news article about the release of the box set!

6.  I will also include copies from the pages of an ultra rare MOBILE FIDELITY PROMO BROCHURE promoting the box set to retailers!  (check out the pics above).

These copies are so well done by a local graphics company that it is hard to tell they are repros.
