This is the Beatles Mobile Fidelity limited edition 14 record set. This box set is limited edition # 20776. The success of the Beatles is well documented. The reputation of Mobile Fidelity is legendary. This limited edition vinyl set contains 13 Original Master Vinyl Recording™ LPs by The Beatles. Titled The Beatles - The Collection, this set has been a favorite of critics and fans around the world. It sold out almost instantly, much like a Beatles concert date in 1964. The care and quality that Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs put into every release is more than evident here. MFSL had access to the original master tapes, not some copy of the masters. These discs were half-speed masters, significantly improving on earlier releases. Following the prep work done by Mobile Fidelity, the discs were pressed overseas by the Japan Victor Company(JVC). Their use of Super Vinyl, was superior to the best available pressings of the day. Each individual disc is specially packaged to maintain the disc's original integrity and to prevent warping. Thirteen Beatles albums are represented here: Please Please Me; With The Beatles; A Hard Days Night; Beatles for Sale; Help; Rubber Soul; Revolver; Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band; The Beatles (also known as the White Album); Yellow Submarine; Abbey Road; Magical Mystery Tour; Let It Be. A 14th disc, the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Geo Disc is also included. The 36-page booklet contains representations of the front and back covers of the 13 Beatles albums, and also explains the Mobile Fidelity process. The 13" x 13" x 6" (approximate measurement) black box holds the collection and protects the recordings. This box set (20776) has been in the hands of the same person since received more than 20 years ago. The vinyl discs are have never been played. The booklet has a few finger smudges but the inside content is great. The box itself shows some slight wear but the collection, overall, is in excellent shape. The discs themselves are near perfect. These sets come on the market occasionally. Now is the time to own one. This was relisted because the winner to contact me and never paid for the item.
