On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Please Please Me' LP and is an ORIGINAL 1965 MONO UK Pressing on the Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSING, AND IS ONE OF THE RAREST PRESSINGS OF PLEASE PLEASE ME EVER MADE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS ALSO AN ULTRA RARE 'TRIAL' PRESSING WITH A IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'GROOVED' LABEL AND WAS ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN JUST HOW AMAZINGLY RARE THIS LP REALLY IS!!!!

IN 1965 EMI DECIDED TO CHANGE MANY THINGS ABOUT THEIR LPS.  THEY CHANGED THE SIZE OF THE PRINT OF 'MONO' (OR 'STEREO') ON THE COVER FRONT TO A SMALLER SIZE, AND THEY ALSO CHANGED THEIR LABELS - DROPPING THE OLD 'PARLOPHONE' TEXT (AND REPLACING IT WITH 'GRAMOPHONE' INSTEAD), AND ALSO REMOVING 'FIRST PUBLISHED' TEXT AND REPLACING WITH A 'P' INSTEAD!!!!  HOWEVER AS WELL AS THAT THEY ALSO DID A VERY VERY FEW AND AMAZINGLY RARE 'TRIAL PRESSINGS' - TESTING OUT NEW TYPES OF PRESSING MACHINE TO SEE EXACTLY WHICH WAS BEST!!!!  AND THIS IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THE RAREST TRIAL PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  OCCASSIONALLY COPIES OF 'RUBBER SOUL' TURN UP LIKE THIS - BUT MONO PRESSINGS OF 'PLEASE PLEASE ME' SIMPLY NEVER DO!!!!  THIS PARTICULAR LP HAS A 'FACTORY SAMPLE' STICKER (WHICH IS SO CLEARLY 100% GENIUNE) ON THE SIDE 1 LABEL - AND CAME FROM AN EX EMI-EMPLOYEES COLLECTION!!!!  HE REMEMBERS THE 'TRIAL PRESSING' WELL - AND BECAUSE IT WAS 'SUPPOSED TO SOUND BETTER' HE TOOK A COPY HOME TO PLAY!!!!  HE ALSO REMEMBERED THE INTRODUCTION OF THE '2N' MATRIX ON THE MONO PRESSINGS (SIDE 2 ONLY) AT AROUND THE SAME TIME - WHICH HE SAYS WAS RE-CUT TO GIVE A CLEARER SOUND.  IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE SOUND - NO DOUBT IT WOULD HAVE ONLY BEEN 'MARGINAL' - BUT OBVIOUSLY THEIR MUST HAVE BEEN A SMALL DIFFERENCE OR IMPERFECTION SOMEWHERE FOR THE MATRIX TO HAVE BEEN CHANGED ON SIDE 2!!!!  IN ANY CASE - WHAT IS CERTAIN IS THAT THIS 'TRIAL PRESSING' ON A 'GROOVED' PARLOPHONE LABEL TO BOTH SIDES IS IMPOSSIBLY RARE AND SIMPLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER!!!!  THE TECHNICAL DETAILS THAT IDENTIFY THIS LP TO THE EXACT DATE OF 1965 ARE A 'SMALL' MONO ON THE COVER FRONT, A 'P' ON THE LABEL, A 2N MATRIX ON SIDE 2 (FAR FAR RARER THAN A 1N MATRIX - WHICH VIRTUALLY ALL MONO PRESSINGS HAVE), AND 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT!!!!  THIS DATES THIS LP TO 1965 AND IS COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE '6TH' MONO PRESSING.  AND WHILST ANY '6TH' PRESSING IN MONO IS INCREDIBLY RARE IN ITS OWN RIGHT (AS BY 1965 SALES OF THIS LP HAD SLOWED DOWN CONSIDERABLY - MOST MONOS THAT TURN UP ARE THE COMMON 4TH PRESSINGS FROM 1963) - THIS LP HAS THE ADDED & IMPOSSIBLY RARE BONUS OF BEING A 'GROOVED' 'TRIAL PRESSING' AND IS ONE OF THE RAREST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP EVER MADE!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 UK 6TH MONO 'TRIAL' PRESSING ON THE ULTRA RARE 'GROOVED' YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER SLEEVE, AND ORIGINAL 'SMALL' MONO 'PATENTS PENDING' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL 1965 MONO UK pressing from 1965 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-2N. The Cat. No is PMC 1202 on the ULTRA RARE 'Grooved' Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a MONO pressing!!!!  All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 VERY small hairline type mark, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely NON sounding surface marks, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with only a few light clicks/pops (from the VERY small hairline type mark - though most are COMPLETELY lost in the music!), NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some absolutely MEGA faint touches of EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves & occassional gap - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL Emitex inner sleeve!!!!  The ULTRA RARE 'Small Mono' Flipback Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), VERY shiny laminate, only a few light creases (cover is flat looking) and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO rubbing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
