GOOD STRONG EX RECORD

The Beatles Revolver LP was the 7th album released by the fab four on the 5th of August 1966. It reached number 1 for 7 weeks and stayed in the charts for 34 weeks.

Catalogue number: Parlophone PMC 7009

Matrix Numbers Side 1: XEX 605-2

Matrix Numbers Side 2: XEX 606-3

Mothers/Stampers Side 1: RDO @ 3 O'clock 5 @ 9 O'clock

Mothers/Stampers Side 2: GMP @ 3 O'clock 3 @ 9 O'clock

Vinyl: EX. There are only a few of the lightest of needle marks to both sides. Nothing at all to make her jump or skip...I have just listened to a selection of tracks...GORGEOUS....WHAT AN ALBUM!!

There is only a small amount of background crackle, but I believe this will be severely reduced with a professional clean to get the dust out of the grooves....Superb original sound, lovely and flat and retains it's lovely shine.

Labels: EX. All in accordance with the re-released 1st press: "SOLD IN THE U.K." central text.

"THE GRAMAPHONE CO.." rim text.

Just a handful of spindle marks only visible when angled to the light with minimal hole wear...really, REALLY NICE.

"KT" Tax code Side 2.

"DOCTOR ROBERT" on the side two label.

***The most unusual point to note about this album is the use of two different typefaces to side one and side two. Side one has a more 'Gothic' typface, whilst side two has the usual 'block' typface. Two VERY different styles.***

Sleeve: EX. One of the best I have seen in a good long while. It is still nice and white.

ONLY one finger of spidering eminating from the spine of 1cm...THAT IS ALL!!!

The corners are lovely and sharp!

Strong Garrod & Lofthouse flipbacks (with one VERY small nick of 1cm...this is for those wonderful perfectionists out there-you know who you are!...just don't bid or ASK a question BEFORE bidding, it is simple).

WONDERFULLY strong spine, retaining the original factory pinches to the corners...SUPERB!

Inner: EX. Original "Use Emitex" Simply superb condition and certainly done the job in keeping this record in gorgeous condition.

GRAB THIS LITTLE BEAUTY FOR IT'S UNUSUALITY AND WONDERFUL CONDITION

Please see my feedback for fair gradings.... 'Mint' means I have just stepped out of the record shop in the 60's, never opened the record, nor played it and kept it in fantasticly dry and warm condtitons...unlikely isn't it!!

I am selling some more Beatles records and will give discounts on postage for more than 1 purchase.

Please email me for further information, but do remember to include your email if you would like further images.

Thank you and good luck bidding.
