Description
BEATLES UK – Revolver LP, mis press, original Mono.
1966 PMC 7009 – original black and yellow Parlophone labels.
An early UK Mono album in original condition, featuring:
1. the record has two different record labels styles, ie side one has the ‘Roman’ font label and side two the label has the ‘Sans Serif’ font label !,
2. the record run off groove on side two has a crossed out ‘stamper’, as it shows a letter ‘T’ with an ‘X’ stamped over the letter ‘T’,
3. each of the record labels have an unusual ‘textured / rougher surface’, within the area of the label of the ‘ridge ring’, while the rest of the surface of the label is smooth,
4. on side two of the record label there is the spelling of ‘Doctor’ Robert, but on the rear of the sleeve it is spelt ‘ Dr Robert’ !.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. This laminate is relatively unscuffed and has an excellent glossy finish. The two opening edges of the sleeve are clean and sharp. The spine is in excellent++ condition and has remained an excellent clean fresh white in colour and all the text is clear to read. The rear features the original tri-flipback design. There are NO tears, splits, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. On the rear top there is a name written in blue pen and some of the song listings on the rear have some small ticks against them in blue pen.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition and is the original EMI period ‘Patents applied for’ white sleeve. An excellent fresh, white clean sleeve that has been very well preserved. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stains, stickers or sticker residue.
THE VINYL: is in very good++ condition. It is made of the period thick, heavy vinyl. The vinyl has remained dark and glossy.
The matrix are: XEX 605 - 2 and XEX 606 – 2,
The mother / stampers are: side one: ‘6 1 0 GLM’ and side two: ‘5 G L T’, and there is a crossed out letter ‘T’ !,
THE AUDIO: is near excellent, it plays with some light crackle and I did hear at the end of track six for about one minute some light ‘ticks’. Side two also plays near excellent with some light crackle. The record plays with a good loud, clear audio. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: side one is in excellent condition. Side two is in very good++ condition. The letters ‘K T’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
