BEATLES - Rubber Soul Vinyl LP (Loud Cut) Mono PMC 1267 -1 matrices. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
Up for sale is an original 1965 UK pressing of the Beatles album "Rubber Soul". When this album was first pressed it had to be withdrawn and re-cut short into the pressing run, these original first copies are called "The loud cut" and they are quite rare compared to their re-pressed counterparts as they weren't made for very long. These copies can be indicated by looking at the matrix numbers, the loud cuts have a "-1" number and the pressings that replaced them had "-4" and "-5" instead. This would be great for a Beatles collector, I'm only selling my copy because I've found another.
Matrix numbers are: XEX 579 -1, XEX 580 -1
Grading
This record is NOT in mint condition, it's been stored, played and loved countless times over the past 5 decades, it has marks, dirt and possibly a couple of scratches, these do not affect the playing of the record very much though, and it's still a very enjoyable experience albeit with a bit of noticable background noise in places, especially quiter parts. There is one skip on this record, side 2 track 4, In my life, during the keyboard solo but none otherwise.
Record: VG-, this could be quite potentially improved by cleaning the record Cover: VG, it's held up alright over the years but it does show it's signs of age, storage and general wear & tear. The 3 flipback flaps are holding up well so if cared for this cover should be able to last many more decades still. Comes with an emitex inner albeit in quite poor shape, has been taped together in a lot of places
