This listing is for an original 1967 mono 1st press copy of the Beatles LP "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", has the “normal” cut  matrixes: XEX 637-1 / XEX 638-1 and all original inserts: With dark green cut-outs insert and original psychedelic red inner sleeve. CONDITIONS:

COVER SLEEVE: The mono WIDE SPINE cover, "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd", without "Patents Pending". in excellent condition. This copy features the much harder to find WIDE SPINE sleeve, which is in a truly very nice, clean condition! This LP has the rare wide spine, fully laminated  mono gatefold cover. This example is definitely in excellent condition, with nice shine surface, gloss and clean, with no tears, writing, marks etc. There is a couple of very light laminate surface folds/traces (see pics.). At the corners hasn't a laminate wears. The spine is well shaped, that is excellent fully legible/readable, without any wears and nice considering for it`s 50 years old. VINYL: The Iconic 1967 UK MONO Vinyl record 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Nice bright, clean and shiny, as it was just pressed! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT with NO really nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever! Daylight I find just a light cosmetic non-sounding and unfeelable scuff (only visible in direct angled light) mostly caused from where it has stored or been removed from it's cover near the 50 years! Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes really interfere with play AT ALL! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity earliest pressing! Excellent condition!
AUDIO: The sound of vinyl record is most important for the client pleasure. Have playtested vinyl. Upon playing both sides, the record plays brilliantly with fantastic MONO sound-clarity, sharpness and depth! The sound really is great - clearly identifiable instruments and vocals! Plays fine, with dense, pure mono sound, without any scips or jumps, irritaining pops and clicks. Really a very desent sounding vinyl LP record. There is periodic brief bursts of background surface may be static noise, mainly in-between qui?ter places. Such a specific deep sound you can only get from original 1st Mother MONO press, heavy-thick UK Parlophone vinyl record.  Amazingly perfect record at this age and rarity, listened to and stored very carefully in time! Excellent sound or better - personal point of view matter! The record's surface is clear, but the vinyl furrows are probably polluted over the years, and a professional cleaning will further improve the sound quality and clear the static noises at qui?ter places. No deterioration in sound quality, plays excellent considering! Excellent condition.
LABELS: Yellow Parlophone Type-6-1. Black and Yellow Parlophone label with silver print: the name "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD.(capital letter)" on the outer rim, the "SOLD IN U.K." remark, and the "(P) 1967" statement. "Sans Serif" type: PMC 7027, with 1st Mother and very early Stampers. Record labels are clean and the print is clearly visible, no writing on the record label, no sticky residue or discoloration, except a couple very light spindle traices on either side. Both labels are in excellent condition. KT tax is presented on label' side 1 (approximately well  noticeable).
INNER SLEEVE: An original psychedelic red & white inner sleeve designed by a Dutch group, "The Fool," who also painted the side of the Apple Corps building, as well as John Lennon's limousine. The words "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN / PATENTS APPLIED FOR" written on the right bottom one sleeve side. The Sleeve is clear, has no writens and without any splits, but there is an one repaired side and water mark (pls. see pics.). Inner Sleeve is in very good condition.
CUT OUT: Excellent condition. The Beatles released Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band in 1967, inserted in the LP sleeve a set of Sgt. Pepper cardboard cut-outs.  The set included a moustache, a picture card of Sgt. Pepper, sergeant stripes, 2 badges, and a Beatles Sgt. Peppers Band stand-up. The original collage used to produce the insert was designed by UK artist Sir Peter Blake and his US wife Jann Haworth. The man depicting “Sgt. Pepper” in the Beatles “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album was actually a real person. His name was James Melvin Babington. Babington’s identity was confirmed by one of the men who were involved with creating the cover. Image of Lt. Gen. Sir James Melville Babington (31 July 1854 – 15 June 1936) was chosen by Paul McCartney.
