THE WORDS 'FOUTH PROOF' ARE PRINTED ON THE INSIDE OF THE GATEFOLD. THEY WERE USED TO PROOF THE ARTWORK\PRINTING BEFORE THE FINAL VERSION OF THE COVER WAS CONFIRMED. THE INSIDE OF THE GATEFOLD ALSO HAS THE WORDS & NUMBERS - AR D13217

PLEASE NOTE THESE EARLY COVERS FEATURE 'PATENTS PENDING'. YOU WILL ONLY EVER SEE THIS ON THE EARLIEST UK COVERS! 

THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST DESIRABLE BEATLES COLLECTABLES EVER!!!!

COVER - VG+ outside of cover has light creases and scruffs on the edges from aging and usage. Inside of gatefold is near EX with one small light mark. No tears or hand-writing.

The words 'Fourth Proof' and 'AR D13217' on inside of Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve

INNER SLEEVE - EX  original Red & White 'Fools' sleeve has some light creases, one neat 4cm split at edge of seam and some yellowing from aging. No tears or hand-writing. Overall in amazing condition for its age! 'Made In Great Britain' 'Patents Applied For' on bottom corner.

VINYL - Side 1 VG+ / Side 2 VG+ some light scratches with occasional pops & some minor crackle but it sounds really great! Lovely heavy thick vinyl with that full mono sound. Hear this LP the way the Beatles wanted you to - in mono!

LABELS - VG++ yellow & black Parlophone labels with 'Sold in UK...' and KT tax code. Would be rated EX except for a 1cm scratch on rim of Side 1 label. Hardly any spindle wear.

CUTOUTS INSERT - EX some yellowing through age.
