PCS 3058, original first issue UK black and yellow stereo Parlophone record labels.

A UK LP in original condition, featuring:

1. first issue 1964 UK 'stereo' LP, much harder to find in 'stereo' as most records bought in 1964 were in mono,

2. first issue 1964 UK record matrix of: YEX 126 - 1 and YEX 127 - 1,

3. original first issue larger/bolder text, 'stereo' record labels,

4. original first issue record label text of, 'recorded first published 1964',

5. comes with its original period EMI, 'Use Emitex' inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in overall very good++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in very good++ condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the original UK period 1960s, ‘tri flip back’, ie 'fold over' edge design. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition and is the original 'Use Emitex' inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve. There is a slight split to the two side edges and some age related 'toning/foxing' around the edges.

THE RECORD: side one is in near excellent condition and side two is in excellent+ condition.

The records matrix are: YEX 126 - 1 and YEX 127 - 1,

The mother / stampers are: ‘2 RA’ and ‘2 GO’.

THE AUDIO: side one, track one, I did hear a couple of 'ticks' in the 'run in' groove before the track begins, otherwise side one plays excellent. Side two plays excellent. The record plays with a full, powerful period 'stereo' sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
