BEATLES UK - Rubber Soul, original Mono.

PMC 1267 - original 1965 Mono yellow & black Parlophone Labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. the sleeve is made by the printing company of ‘E J Day’, most of these sleeves were made by ‘Garrod and Lofthouse’,

2. on side one of the record label there is an additional ‘dot’ ie it reads ‘Sold in .U.K.’ etc, the record label on side two does not have this additional ‘dot’ !.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in excellent condition and all of the text is readable. The rear of the sleeve features the tri flipback design. The rear of the sleeve has remained very clean for its age. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue. There is a slight split to one of the side edges.

THE VINYL: is in excellent condition, the vinyl is made from the period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. It has remained very dark and glossy, it has been well looked after and not played very much at all.

The matrix are :    XEX 579 - 4    and    XEX 580 – 4,

The mother / stampers are:    ‘4 8   G H O’   and   ‘7   R G D’.

THE AUDIO: is excellent, in fact one of the best  audio playbacks I have heard  for a long time from a 4 / 4 matrix mono copy, it plays loud and clear with excellent quiet grooves. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: side one is in excellent+ condition, side two is in excellent condition. There are the letters ‘K T’ embossed around the spindle hole on side one. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
