Description
THE BEATLES “WHITE ALBUM”
EARLY1ST PRESSING MONO ISSUE PMC 7067/68
100% ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE
LAMINATED SLEEVE WITH LOW NUMBER “0034723”
NEITHER RECORD HAS, “EMI RECORDING” MARKED – BACKING UP THE SLEEVE NUMBER IN INDICATING THAT THIS IS A VERY EARLY PRESSING
THE SLEEVE IS IN GENERALLY EXCELLENT CONDITION – THERE IS A SLIGHT DISCOLOURATION AT THE TOP LEFT SIDE (FRONT AND BACK) AND INSIDE (SEE PICTURES).
THE LAMINATED COVER STILL RETAINS ITS HIGH GLOSS - THERE IS SLIGHT WEAR (IT IS A 41 YEAR OLD LP AFTER ALL!!) TO THE OPENING EDGE. NO RING WEAR IS EVIDENT. THERE IS NO WRITING OR PEN MARKS ON THE SLEEVE
SLEEVE IS MARKED INSIDE “PRINTED AND MADE BY GARROD & LOFTHOUSE INTERNATIONAL LTD”
AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES THE BLACK INNER SLEEVES ARE ORIGINAL ALTHOUGH NOT IN BRILLIANT CONDITION – THERE IS A FAIR BIT OF CREASING BUT THEY ARE BOTH INTACT WITH NO EGDE SPLITS AND JUST A SMALL AMOUNT OF DAMAGE TO THE CENTER CUT OUTS
THE APPLE LABELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH LIGHT SPINDLE TRAILS
ALL FOUR LABELS FEATURE “SOLD IN UK..” TEXT
THE MATRIX CODES ARE
XEX 709-1
XEX 710-1
XEX 711-1
XEX 712-1
VISIBLY THE CONDITION OF THE VINYL IS VERY GOOD PLUS WITH QUITE A FEW MARKS ON ALL SIDES – HOWEVER HAVING SAID THAT BOTH RECORDS PLAYED THROUGH ON MY TURNTABLE WITHOUT NOTICABLE NOISE, TICKS, JUMPS ETC
THE FOUR PICTURES OF JOHN, PAUL GEORGE AND RINGO ARE ORIGINAL AND IN NEAR MINT CONDITION.
THE POSTER IS EXCELLENT MINUS WITH SOME SEAM WEAR AND A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF SEAM SPLIT WHERE THE POSTER HAS BEEN FOLDED.
WHILE THIS LOW NUMBER COPY (0034723) OF THE WHITE ALBUM IS NOT NEAR MINT COPY IT’S NOT A BAD COPY AND IT’S COMPLETE
