THE BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM NO.0010817
ON APPLE LABEL - MONO PRESSING CATALOGUE NUMBER PMC 7068
MATRIX NUMBERS - XEX 709-2 /710-1/ 711-1 / 712-1 &
THIS IS A FANTASTIC COPY OF THIS VERY LOW NUMBERED CLASSIC BEATLES ALBUM - THIS COMES COMPLETE WITH 4 PHOTOGRAPHS, THE POSTER AND THE ORIGINAL BLACK INNERS
CONDITION AS FOLLOWS: (PLEASE SEE CLOSE UP PICS TO ASSIST WHEN ASSESSING CONDITION)
VINYL
I would grade both records as being in EXCELLENT+ condition. Both have original glossy sheen and have only very minor paper scuffs and hairlines.
LABELS
Both labels I would grade as being EXCELLENT. Unfortunately sides 1 & 3 have a white sticker on them with the initials KM. There is spindle wear on both records. Other than the points noted above the labels are clean and bright.
POSTER, PHOTOS and INNERS
The poster is in EX+ condition with only very minor wear where it has been folded and a couple of tiny marks
The 4 photographs of John, Paul, George & Ringo are in Ex+ conition also. No faults other than a couple of fingerprints
Both black inners have suffered from seam splits. Of the 6 closed sides only 1 has split all the way along however. I would grade these as VG+.
SLEEVE
The all important numbered top opening sleeve is in very nice condition.
The outside of the sleeve (front and back) I would grade as EXCELLENT+. It is still nice and clean with hardly an ceases and only a couple of minor marks. There is some minor rubbing however at the corners and along the top opening.
The inside of the sleeve I would grade as being EXCELLENT-. The one minor fault which slightly downgrades the sleeve is a tear along the right seam of around 5cm (see close up pics). Other than this fault the inside of the sleeve is nice and clean with only some minor discolouration at the outer edges.
ALL IN ALL A VERY NICE COPY OF THIS VERY LOW NUMBERED CLASSIC BEATLES ALBUM - I THINK YOU WOULD BE DOING WELL TO FIND A NICER COPY
PLEASE NOTE I TRY AND BE AS CONSERVATIVE AS POSSIBLE WHEN IT COMES TO GRADING AS CAN BE SEEN FROM MY FEEDBACK.
AS THIS IS A 2LP SET THE POSTAGE COST WILL BE £6 SENT 1ST CLASS RECORDED - I CAN ALSO POST THIS SPECIAL DELIVERY WITHIN THE UK AT A COST OF £9 (PREFERRED OPTION SO FULLY INSURED)
