A 1963 pressing with "The Parlophone Co Ltd label rim print, NO Sold In The UK Subject To"... centre print. In 1964, legalities forced Parlophone to add a "resale statement" to their records. All Parlophone LP's produced between 1964 and late 1965 will have The Parlophone Co. Ltd. in the rim print and will have the Sold in UK message across the middle of the label. First pressings do not have the "resale statement."

THIS IS UNBELIEVABLY RARE AS IT IS THE RARE JOBETE PRESS IN STEREO, WITH THE 'GOTTA' MISPRINT ON THE COVER AND THE RECORD LABELS, AND COMES WITH THE FIRST EVER MATIX AND EARLY MOTHER STAMPERS! AND TO TOP ALL THAT, THIS VIVNLY IS IN NEAR MINT QUALITY WITH TOP AUDIO! SUPERB!

The ONE MILLION mark arrived by September 1965, making this album the FIRST EVER British album to sell 1,000,000 copies in the U.K. The American version of this album, Meet The Beatles bizarrely left off five of the tracks, but sold over 5 million copies. This makes combined sales for The Beatles second album of over 6.5 million.

Chartwise, this L.P. replaced "Please Please Me" at the number one slot, and remained there for 21 weeks. This gave The Beatles a continuous run of 51 weeks at the summit !_Also, in these early days of the British charts, ALL product was listed together regardless of format, and therefore this L.P. even made it into the U.K. singles chart, reaching number 11, which was a record placing for an album.

The cover was a very artful half-shadow black-and-white shot of The Beatles taken by Robert Freeman.

Great audio with minimal interference to distract form the overly enjoyment of this great record. This is one of the best I've ever heard and possibly one of the best audio pieces around!

A great all round example of this great FIRST PRESS BEATLES vinyl. Wonderful TOP audio, there is NO distortion, NO sticks or jumps what so ever, and virtual silence between the tracks.

This vinyl is an absolute gem! It must be the clearest copy of With The Beatles I've heard. Staggering first Stereo mix, unlike the re-issues which lack the impact.

THE RECORD - NEAR MINT

A lovely piece of glossy vinyl. Extremely heavy, ITS VIRTUALLY UN MARKED! Only when held up to a spot light can a couple of very faint hairlines be seen. A really STUNNING and ULTRA Rare example!

THE COVER – EXCELLENT

Original Ernest J. Day cover. With the Beatles was originally published with the misspelling "You Really Gotta Hold on Me", on the track listing on the back of the cover. These were quickly corrected, so the GOTTA covers are increasingly rare. If you are lucky enough to find a first press vinyl, having one with the correct matching cover is even more rare. And finding s First Stereo Press with the Jobete Assignation and the GOTTA cover. Un believable! 

Being the second Beatles album, it is extremely hard to find With the Beatles covers in anything like decent condition. This is a lovely example with only very light corner wear and some light creasing to the laminate.

With the Beatles covers have to be one of the most prone to wear, of all the classic Beatles vinyls from the sixties. The laminate is prone to cracking and lifting, with serious ring wear and destruction to the edges. The unlaminated back is usually heavily marked and The Spines are nearly always flattened, worn and un readable. Not this one!

There is some very light scuffing to the corners, but no rubbing along the edges. The opening edges are very square and un frayed. The white areas are very white, with no blemishes. The back cover is nice and clean, with no discernible ring wear, which is very unusual for these delicate covers.

The Spine shows minimal wear only,  the spine text is totally intact, and is one of the squarer examples I have seen. A great example. All round, this is a really nice cover!!!

THE LABELS - EXCELLENT CONDITION

Both labels are in EXCELLENT CONDITION, with a fair amount of light spindle traces around the spindle hole. The KT tax credits are still black and un worn. Nice examples of this rare classic First press.

THE INNER - 

Comes with Original First Press Inner Sleeve with Polythene Lining. One is slightly worn but the second is totally intact, in great condition, just some light yellowing. States: "USE EMITEX..." & "IMPORTANT - TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR MICROGROOVE RECORDS ..."

EXCELLENT PLUS condition, NO tears around the die cut openings, and NO wear at the tops. Crisp and Clean.

RARITY

A FIRST PRESS copy of With the Beatles in this type of condition is Incredibly scarce. The vinyl is so often played so much, heavily marked, scratched, with noisy, poor and distorted sound. Any JOBETE examples with a record in this type of condition, that plays really well is very rare.

FIRST UK Yellow and Black original pressings of With the Beatles are getting rarer by the day. Finding one in all round nice is extremely rare, In STEREO, makes this an EXTREMELY rare opportunity.

This is an Original First Uk Press from 1963 with Original Inner Sleeve and great original HEAVY PRESSED Vinyl. With Original Yellow and Black Parlophone Labels with the rarer KT Tax Credit,  the Jobete label and the correct first press 'GOTTA' cover. Finding a copy in this condition is VERY RARE Indeed. A wonderful and extremely rare copy of this classic early Beatles album
