Description

Hello, You are bidding on an Original 1966 Beatles Album # ST-2553 Yesterday And Today/2nd State "Butcher Cover" (Trunk Cover pasted over original cover) With so many of these 2nd state albums having been peeled (either successfully or unsuccessfully) they are becoming increasingly harder to find and are highly sought after. You probably know the story with these albums: The 1st State (Butcher Cover) was pulled from store shelves shortly after it's release due to it's objectionable cover and was quickly replaced by these 2nd State albums, which have the Trunk Cover pasted over the original Butcher Cover. A 3d State album is really a 2nd State album with the Trunk Pasteover Cover removed, leaving the Butcher Cover intact. The condition of this album is fair with light (and a few heavy) scratches on both sides of the album. Please note I have not played this album so I do not know how it sounds. The album cover is in good condition, the front is fairly clean and has it's original unpeeled pasteover trunk cover, which has four sharp corners and crisp edges. The back of the cover is heavily soiled. Also there is some wear on the corners and edges with heavy wear on the spine (see pictures) if you have any questions feel free to ask. Compare what some of the other 2nd State and 3d State Albums are selling for. Now is your chance to own an original Yesterday & Today 2nd State Album...THIS IS A GREAT INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY...DON'T MISS OUT!!!
