Cover
The fully laminated stereo Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold cover (has the word "stereo" on the back) is in a very nice VERY GOOD+ condition, there is no writing, tears or bad ring wear, the front which has the number 0541079 clearly visible has just some edge creases and light record indentation (not wear) where the lp has been placed in the cover, the back is generally the same with just a little wear in the top left corner. The cover is now a creamy colour with some yellowing near the spine. The spine does suffer from wear and a little flaking but it is not split
Original Inner
The 2 black die cut inners are VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT one has a taped split
Poster
The Garrod & Lofthouse lipstick kiss poster is in EXCELLENT condition with no damage, never been hung on a wall
Pictures
The first press photos are EXCELLENT
Labels
All the labels are in EXCELLENT++/NEAR MINT condition with no damage, couple small spindle marks, there is no tax code and sides 3/4 omit "an e.m.i recording"
Records
The records are SUPERB with full gloss and shine and no groove wear they shine. In normal light they look EXCELLENT if not better!! but when you look under very strong light you can see a few faint marks/scratches..no fingernail ones so will grade VERY GOOD++ to EXCELLENT-.I have played the album,it is unwarped and plays really well with no sound distortion and it does not stick or jump
side 1 plays really well..the tracks play excellent to near mint with no loud crackles etc just a few bits of static crackle in places which does not overshadow the music
side 2 does not play as good,it has some light clicks in places and some static most noticeable on "martha my dear" (maybe a proper clean would solve this)
side 3 generally plays like side 1 apart from some light pops on "mother nature`s son! again a clean could solve this
side 4 generally plays well with some light static
I THINK A PROPER CLEAN WOULD SOLVE THIS PROBLEM
