THE BEATLES, Please Please Me, a UK Parlophone Gold label Mono copy with 1st issue Dick James credits - the matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N (side a). and XEX 422-1N (side b) - it has the 1st mother 1 at 9 o'clock both sides with v early press ZMT tax code - the stampers at 3 o'clock are A (side a), and T (side b) - the labels as you will see are bright and clean, no detectable rubbing, with a little wear around the spindle hole - overall EX. The vinyl has been played all the way through on a Rega turntable - visually the vinyl still retains a sheen but there are a few light marks and scuffs both sides. The LP plays with no jumps. There is a light crackle heard in the quiet parts and between tracks. However, the quality of the heavyweight vinyl helps to overcome these issues. I have graded the vinyl as VG. The cover is the correct 1st issue cover with the McBean credit far right and the printer is Ernest J. Day - the cover is clean and presentable with edge wear through the laminate in a couple of places top and bottom edge - the spine is better with virtually no flattening - the writing is clear and legible. The bottom right corner has been bumped and worn through but the McBean credit is still fully there. The rear has a name written in pen next to the title and the flipbacks are a little creased particularly at the bottom corners - overall VG.
