1964 UK 1st PRESS *MONO* LP
**XEX 606-1**
This copy includes the rare 'remix 11' version of 'Tomorrow Never Know' - available only on these initial UK mono pressings.
This rare 1966 UK 1st mono pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The side 2 label has the 'Dr Robert' spelling.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-1
Stamper numbers: 5/RM & 1/OR
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both sides are in pristine 'MINT' condition viewed in direct natural light, without any scuffs, mark or scratches of any kind anywhere.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp just a few light inner-sleeve storage marks and wispy paper hairlines but no further wear.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT MINUS
As pristine as it appears, I have downgraded because of some light background crackle which is present throughout side 1 and the first 3 tracks on side 2.
However there a no clicks, pops, jumps or any other audible faults elsewhere.
Cover: NEAR MINT
This outstanding example has a perfect front panel with no disc impression, scratching or 'thumbnail' creases near the opening edge.
All corners are perfectly clean, square and unbumped and both opening edges appear completely untouched.
The rear panel is clean & deep black with just a few faint fingermarks which prevent a straight MINT grade.
All flipbacks, both seams and the spine are in perfect condition.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Crisp, clean white & unyellowed with no splits, tears or writing.
